HASHBROWN

HASHBROWN came in as a Stray with three other kittens, Poptart, Pancake, and Waffles (whoever named them must have been hungry for breakfast that day). Two were adopted quickly, but he and his sister Waffles are still here. He's about two years old and very shy. HASHBROWN hides a lot or will stay on a high shelf until he feels safe with you. The volunteers who have gained his trust say he is very sweet and will come out for pets and then want to play. He also loves cheek scratches. He will retreat if he feels overwhelmed. HASHBROWN is food motivated and loves canned cat food and treats. He's good with the other cats in his room, but we don't know how he is with dogs or children. Since it does take time for him to warm up to new people, he may not adapt well to a household with a dog or with young children. Older children should be ok, as long as they understand that HASHBROWN will need time to slowly adjust to his new family. HASHBROWN was born without much contact with people, however, he was brought to the shelter as a youngster, so has gotten use to people. Though people come and go in his life, he has adjusted and will interact with us. We know he would flourish once he was settled in a stable environment. There must be a special person who would love to adopt this sweet boy and give him the life he has never had! How about you?
