My Story

Harper is a big beautiful tabby colored hunk of love who is less than 2 years old and absolutely loves attention and being pet! Harper has blossomed and is fully his silly friendly attention seeking self and absolutely loves to cuddle, with his favorite places being in bed where he acts clownish and silly rolling over for belly rubs often sleeping on his back up against me. I can drag him even upside down up against me and under the covers for super cuddling and belly rubs and whole body massages!!! He also will seek my lap... when it's not busy. He loves attention everywhere but is still a tiny bit cautious and and shy with those he doesn’t know yet. He also enjoys interacting playtime with the cat wand/fishing pole, playing with friends, climbing cat trees, which also serve as perches to bird watch and sunbath, Ping-Pong balls, coils, material crinkle toys, small animal toys & small soft balls. Harper will be very careful who he gives his heart to and he may not think he’s ready for a forever, cat savvy, family to give him all the love and time he may need to adjust, but he is! It always takes a leap of faith but trust me you will LOVE this sweet boy, hopefully more than I do! Two kitties are better than one so adopt one of his family or friends! Back story: First picked up, and held, by an old couple inside their 400sf travel trailer for months but couldn't keep them so brought them to a shelter were they were understandably terrified and freaked, so deemed unadoptable. They were spayed, neutered, and brought to me underweight do to the stress of being in the shelter (two lost more than a pound each) and with upper respiratory infections. Understandably it took time to gain their trust & friendship. Zither warmed up the quickest and was adopted after a few months with me and adjusted quickly to a new home with a dogs. Harper was the second one to become my friend and is super silly, friendly and absolutely loves to cuddle with his favorite place being in bed where he is super silly and rolls over for belly rubs and will often end up sleeping on his back up against me. He also will seek my lap... when it's not busy. He loves attention everywhere. Mandolin is super friendly and absolutely loves to cuddle with her favorite place being in bed or my lap... when it's not busy. She loves and DEMANDS attention everywhere from everyone! Banjo will be very careful with who he gives he whole heart too!!! He is still a bit insecure, careful & shy... but is friendly and becoming more and more attention seeking… his favorite place to seek attention is still mostly when I'm cleaning the litter boxes... I know that is crazy but honestly all but his siblings became my friends while I was cleaning litter boxes lol he now seeks a lot more attention all around the house. In the kitchen, on the couch… waiting for my lap to be free… and he has started to really be attention seeking in bed and lying next to me and even getting belly rubs!!!! He is still super shy/careful and will do so much better in a home without so much competit ion for my attention.
