Hank

3yr old Hank is a happy, friendly, playful guy! But you would have never believed he was the same cat if you had seen him when he first came to our rescue. Sadly, Hank was suffering from an extremely painful condition called stomatitis, which is essentially a reaction to plaque that causes so much discomfort in the mouth that cats cannot eat or groom themselves. Hank was reserved, disheveled and suffering. Luckily, we were able to get him in for surgery (a full mouth extraction - the only effective treatment option) quickly, and since then, he has been like a new cat! His foster reports that he frolics and plays like a little kitten now and that he's making up for all the weight he lost by eating like a champ (yes, he can eat both dry and canned food just fine without any teeth). We're so thrilled to see Hank have a chance at a painfree life, but now he seeks the final stage of his rescue - finding a forever family to adopt him! Hank LOVES other kitties and has a ton of energy, so he'd prefer a home with another friendly feline who can keep up with him. You won't find a sweeter, goofier, spunkier guy than Hank!
