Our rescues mean a lot to the vet staff and DunRoamin' volunteers. We do everything we can to find the perfect homes for these pets, who are being given a second chance at a happy life. The application process requires pre-adoption applications, references, and interviews with you and those listed on your application in order to ensure a successful placement. If you are interested in learning more about the pet listed, please complete an application at https://form.jotform.com/60793520585259 and a representative will be in touch!

Haiku came to DunRoamin' on April 25, 2024, from Gordonsville. Born about October 25, 2023, she was a stray kitten who was found near a barn, but no one was able to take her in.
Haiku was skinny, had a terrible case of fleas, worms and also had an upper respiratory infection. Regardless of how terrible she must feel right now, she purrs in gratitude for the food, parasite control, soft warm bed and for the kindness of friends who will now care for her. She will be fully vaccinated, spayed, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for all parasites before she is ready to go to that home that she dreams about where she will be warm, safe and loved.
Donations toward her care (food, medication, spay, vaccines, parasite control, etc) are very welcome and may be done in person, by mail, by e-transfer or through CanadaHelps.org.
