Hi! My name is Hadley. My previous owners decided they wanted me to have kittens and had their friend bring over their cat to breed us. I had my kittens and my owners then thought it was a good idea to have another cat come over to meet me and my kittens. I become very protective and when the humans tried to stop me and I was so upset I bit them. My punishment was to be taken away from my kids and sent to be euthanized.
My rescue family says I have PTSD because there was another incident where a volunteer held some newborn kittens shortly after I joined rescue and then came to pet me and I just lost it and went after her too. I feel really badly about it. That was many years ago and I have not even tried to hurt anyone since, but people are still afraid of me so I call the sanctuary my home.
If ever a very special person comes along that would love me then that would be great, but if that day never comes then at least I have my rescue family and they take good care of me.
