Habañero N. ~~ A Special Boy ~~

HELLO! Please meet HABAÑERO! Habañero is the last of six beautiful siblings that have all moved on. He and his siblings were rescued from a Bronx apartment where the owners were unable to care for and manage the litter and other adult cats living there. Fortunately, we were able to get all the adult cats fixed, and the six kittens were taken into our care. Habañero is a playful and loyal 1-year-old male. Because the siblings were largely neglected in their first couple of months, they were all withdrawn and timid around new people. Habañero was especially reserved and growly. But now, with his amazing foster, he only shows his sweet and affectionate side. He has come so far! Habañero is curious, playful, and an adoring sidekick. His foster describes how he often goes searching for her for cuddle time! Habañero is a social boy and needs to be adopted to a home with other social and playful cats. Habañero has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and snap tested. Just a note from his foster: Habañero likes people and he likes other cats and wants to see what everyone in his household is doing on a regular basis. He's still a kitten, so his schedule can vary as he gets distracted by a toy on the floor or a bird outside the window, but he gets back on track before long. Habañero was born with five littermates, and it seems like he wants that lifestyle back - the closeness and cuddling, the impromptu skirmishes, eating from the same plate. He is gentle and attentive and will jump off something if you maintain eye contact and tell him to get down. Overall, I would call him a relationship cat - he needs some direct human attention every day (and gives as good as he gets) and the closeness of another kitty or kitties.
