My Story

Her name, Greta, is an anagram for Great because she is! So outgoing, so playful and loves to be with people. Unlike some cats, Greta even enjoys meeting new people. If you think cats are stand-offish and independent, Greta will change your mind. This super-friendly, super-affectionate kitten has overcome a very hard start in life. She was a "surprise" kitten because she had never been seen by the kind woman who was feeding homeless cats, although other kittens that we suspect were Greta's littermates were seen and rescued early. When she was trapped she was in really terrible condition and looked quite skeletal. That was surprising because there was plenty of food in that area, so perhaps she was trapped in a shed or garage for a long-time. She was so weak that she had several infections, but those could all be treated quickly. Then it was just a matter of providing plenty of food and love. Greta responded with purrs and love and grew into a beautiful, well-muscled healthy gray and pale orange tortie girl who loves to make her people happy. Could Greta be your girl?
