Greta is new here at Purrs - and on the very shy side. As a result, we don’t know too much about who she is as a cat. So, here is what we do know.
Gentle: Greta is gentle. When we have had the opportunity to hold and interact with Greta, she is gentle and sweet. No hisses, no bites, no scratching. She eases into a cuddle really well.
Social: She is a social butterfly with other cats. Great at making friends, she seeks other felines out for comfort. Given her anxious nature, we recommend Greta have a feline companion to help her adjust to change and people - the more social her companion, the more comfortable with people she will become. Cats are social learners - so being paired with a confidant cat will help her develop her own confidence.
Affectionate: While all of our interactions with Greta have necessitated having to catch her, once caught, she has proven to be open to cuddles and gentle interaction. We suspect that with patience and the right human, Greta could develop into a great little companion. Likely, even a lap cat!
We believe that all cats deserve a chance at a good life, including the cats who need extra work. Greta is one of those cats. So please come by and meet her!
In the meantime, Purrs will continue to provide a loving and safe environment for her to blossom into her best self for as long as she needs.
