Granny

Granny is an adorable, little old lady with a unique, elfin look and an unquenchable spirit. She would be a wonderful, loving companion for a human senior. We offer a 20% discount on adoptions of animals over 10 or for people over 60. Please see the note below from Granny's foster family. ' Granny Cat came to us one night about 2 months ago. She was outside our house screaming for someone to help her. We took her to the all night vet to see if she was hurt. Her fur was so dirty and matted that they shaved most of it off that night. She was dehydrated and almost starved to death. She was so weak she could barely walk. We have never seen an animal in such bad shape. We brought her home and made a nursery for her in our garage. The next day we took her to our vet . They did all of the tests on her. She had no diseases or parasites but had a very bad respiratory infection. We had to give Granny Cat antibiotics two times a day and also had to give her fluids through an IV twice a day just to get her hydrated. We kept her safe and warm and in a few weeks she had gotten over her respiratory infection and started putting on weight. Another trip to the vet for a check up and to get her ears cleaned out saw her almost 100%. The vet thinks she is an old lady and she doesn't see very well. Granny Cat is very affectionate and loves to be petted and talked to. She was declawed at some point in her life and she is fully litter box trained. Granny Cat is so sweet and she deserves a good home with someone who has time to devote to an older cat. Please help her find a good home to live out the rest of her days in happiness!'
