Found trapped, near death, in an abandoned building. :( We suspect he was trapped for at least a week before we heard his meows and rescued him. When he was rescued, Graham was very skinny with visible ribs. Now, Graham lives happily in our bedroom until we find his furever home!
Personality:
Graham is sociable, affectionate, loving, and is great at cuddling! One of his most endearing traits is his ability to make you feel loved and appreciated. Whether it’s a gentle nudge with his head or a soft purr in your ear, he always knows how to show his affection. Every night, he curls up between us and sleeps happily near our heads. His gentle nature and sweet demeanor make him the perfect companion for anyone looking for a furry friend to spend days and nights with.
Favorite Activities:
He loves to spend his days lounging around, playing with his favorite toys, and receiving affection. He's especially fond of chin and back scratches, and he’ll purr contentedly whenever he’s being petted! Sometimes he gets so into the pets he rolls and flops all over the bed!
While we found Graham didn't get along with our other adult cats, he has taken to playing and lounging with the kittens we rescued.
Background:
Graham was likely someones indoor pet for most of his life, as he is very comfortable with humans and is contented being home alone in a quiet space for extended periods of time. We suspect Graham has also spent some time outdoors, based on his condition when we found him trapped in the vacant building. One of Graham's ears has suffered an injury at one point and has healed deformed. We are SO GLAD Graham has the opportunity to live and thrive indoors once more.
Ideal Home:
He would thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of love and affection! Graham is looking for a forever home where he can be a cherished member of the family. He does well with kittens, but struggles with older cats that he feels he has to compete with for territory. We are not sure how he does with children, dogs, or other pets.
Health:
Graham is in excellent health, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and has been neutered. He’s also litter trained and well-behaved, making him a low-maintenance pet.
If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and affectionate companion, Graham is the perfect cat for you!! He’s ready to bring warmth and happiness into your home and to be your new best friend. :)
