My Story

Hi....my name is "Grady." IF I'M NOT ADOPTED BY MAY 13 I WILL BE SENT TO A HOSPICE. I'm not sick, and everyone at FOCAS loves me (they even spoke about making me their mascot), but since I've tested positive for FIV they cannot keep me here if they're to help other cats find homes. FIV is not contagious to people or other species of animals, only cats. As such, I need to be adopted into a single cat household or into a home with other FIV positive cats. I truly love people and although I've been told I'll make many feline friends at the hospice, I'd much prefer a home and family of my own. I'm very mellow and laid back, a perfect companion for children or adults. I purr when I'm spoken to. I purr when I'm brushed. I'm a handsome 1 - 2 year old cream colored domestic long haired cat and I know I'd look wonderful curled up on your lap or keeping your easy chair warm. I'm not sick and should have many years to share with a special family. To meet me, phone FOCAS at (201) 943-4019, option #4.
