Grace

Grace, a petite little 10 year old, came to us after suffering a horrific trauma. Her owner, whom she loved, passed away and no one knew for two weeks. Poor Grace was found in the home when he was discovered, terrified and confused. After several weeks at her foster home, she finally started to come out of hiding, very slowly seeking pets and bravely exploring her new environment. It quickly became apparent that she doesn't trust other cats, and would be best as an only cat. Once she found her courage, her wonderful personality came through. Grace is small but full of love. She loves chin rubs and chatting with her foster dad. She's not a lap cat, but loves to stay right by his side for scratches. Grace is one of those cats that just wants to hang out with you, keeping you company and being spoiled. During an appointment for some dental work she needed done, it was discovered that Grace is at the beginning stages of kidney disease. She is on a special diet to help her kidneys, and will need regular blood work done to monitor how she is doing. It can sound like a scary and overwhelming thing, but it really isn't.
