My Story

If there was an award for the sweetest, most gentle, and most lovable cat then GOO would certainly win this award. When you first meet Goo she wastes no time greeting you with face rubs and nose kisses. Who wouldn't want to start their day like this? She is just a happy cat and her demeanor is contagious. Her loving antics make one smile and one can never smile too much!

Not only is Goo personable, she's also a beauty. She's considered a Tortoise Shell which according to Wikipedia basically "describes a coat coloring found in cats. Cats of this color are mottled, with patches of red and black, chocolate, or cinnamon. Dilution genes may modify the coloring, lightening the fur to a mix of cream and blue, lilac or fawn. The markings on tortoiseshell cats are usually asymmetrical. Tortoiseshells are not specific breeds of cat. The tortoiseshell markings appear in many different breeds. Cats of this coloration are believed to bring good luck in the folklore of many cultures; in the United States these are sometimes referred to as money cats."

Goo's coat coloring fits the description of a diluted Tortoiseshell since she has more of the muted tones of gray, white, and tan.

Goo is only half the story. She is bonded with her sister BITZ. Bitz is just as gorgeous as Goo but has more of a Siamese look. Bitz is just as loving as Goo in every respect. They make a great pair and how can you resist double the loving. These two have hearts as big as they come and are eager to share their love with someone. You can see Bitz at the following Petfinder link http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=11259852.

Goo and Bitz are over 10 years old and are therefore eligible for the Senior Discount as well as a discount for being a bonded pair. See below for details.

You can meet this delightful pair at the Wilsonville Petsmart store. Adoption hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 12-4 or by appointment. Come meet all the wonderful adoptable cats and kittens from Cat Adoption Team!

Goo is eligible for the Senior Cat discount.

All of our cats eight years and older are only $60. They come with the same services as all of our great cats.

Better with a Buddy!
These two cats are a bonded pair. They are dependent on each other and would be very unhappy if separated. To help these cats get adopted as a pair, Cat Adoption Team now offers a discount of $50 on the second cat when bonded pairs are adopted together. Only CAT's Operations Manager will determine which cats are bonded pairs and this will be noted on the cats' charts. Bonded pairs apply to adult cats 1 year of age or older that are surrendered to the shelter at the same time from the same owner. The discount does not apply to kittens or to two cats that may be sharing a cage but came in separately.

We hope that this discount will encourage adopters to open their hearts even more and give two cats that really depend on each other another chance at a forever home.

We offer a 20% discount on adult cat adoptions for senior adopters (62 and older).
