Goldie

Goldie is almost 9 months old and weighs 8 pounds. She had a tough start to life. Goldie gave birth to 5 orange babies while still a baby herself. They were rescued off the streets. Goldie was fearful and distrusting of about everything and she spent the first almost 5 months of foster care hiding under the foster mom’s bed only coming out at night. Her response to human contact was to hiss and run away to hide. The last month she has made giant strides. She discovered humans share yummy treats and have warm laps for snuggling and getting pets. She is still edgy about sudden movements and loud noises. Goldie craves human attention now. She will sleep on your bed, voluntarily climb into your lap for loves, and come running when you shake the bag of treats. Goldie needs a quiet home with no small children or other pets. She need a human who is calm, understanding of kitty fears, and possesses great patience and has the time to help Goldie continue to work on her socializing skills. She spends lot of time jumping around and napping on the cat tree. When you turn off the lights and say ‘night night time kitty’ she will race you to the bed and lay beside you for tummy rubs before going to sleep. Goldie is spayed and has her vaccinations.
