Glazed

This timid female Birman mix is named Glazed. She has a stunning medium-length Lilac-Pt. coat with a lighter shade in the face and white legs. Born approximately 8/30/22 in Cortez, CO, she grew up in an irresponsible breeder's home, and never knew humans could be loving and trusted. She is cautious and slowly learning the joy of affection, responding to soft voices, slow hands, and tender touches while in a calm, quiet environment. Neck rubs with a soft wand open the door to hand pets but yet for a limited time. Her desire for wet food presents opportunity to build a positive relationship and invites her to be nearby. Also of interest are wand toys, and she reveals her playful nature when she feels safe in a calm setting. She is not comfortable yet being held and does not care to be scruffed. Glazed will blossom in a peaceful adult home where patience and tenderness guide her continued socialization. She will need to start in a smaller room and gradually grow to a bigger space as her confidence increases.
