My Story

**Adoption visits are by appointment only** If you see an animal you're interested in, fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website https://everettwa.gov/161/Adopt-a-Pet Meet Glacier! This pretty lady came to the shelter as a stray with a fractured leg and pelvis which ultimately required surgery to remove the leg. She is now on the mend and ready to find her loving, furrever home! Our vet recommends gradual return to activities (climbing, jumping) over next 2 weeks and with supervision as she gains strength with her remaining legs. She can be a little shy at first but warms up quickly, which means she will need a patient adopter willing to give her lots of time to adjust to her new home. She will also need slow and proper introductions to any resident pets in the home.
