My Story

Gizmo Gray Maine Coon DOB approximately 5/2015 Gizmo had a great life for the first 7 years with her mom and Grandma until it all unraveled, and she found herself out of a home. The mom got pregnant and had a baby with a super allergic guy and moved out of state, then Grandma couldn't afford the rent for an apartment locally, so she had to rent a room, and then she moved out of state as well. I took Gizmo into my home & she had a big adjustment period as her whole world turned upside down. She has done pretty well, but I think she would prefer to be the only cat in the home. Gizmo is amazingly affectionate once she gets to know you, and her green eyes are stunning. She will need a climate controlled home (with her thick fur, the heat of summer is difficult for her) and grooming every 3-6 months, which is typical for Maine Coons. She has never been around small children or dogs. I think she would prefer an adult only home that is quiet and predictable. Spayed, vaccinated, flea treated. Has never been combo tested, but has been an indoor only cat for her entire life, she was born indoors as well. Gizmo is 22 lbs and has special dry food that she eats for cats with weight issues. Does not eat canned food
