Hi, I’m Gizmo. I’m a fun 9 month old guy! I love to play and cuddle. I am extremely trusting of everyone – even little kids. I understand how to be gentle with them – which my parents really like. I also like heat – my parents say I hog the heat vents, but hey what do you expect when its been a freezing cold winter! I wouldn’t blame myself either. I live with cats and dogs and play with anyone who is willing and will cuddle or sleep with anyone too. If your looking for a mellow guy – I’m your man – Give me a jingle or better yet, email the rescue. I look forward to hearing from you.

Note from Foster Mom:
Gizmo could not have made me any more proud of him – we had friends over along with their 1 year old son, whom loves animals. He walked around trying to pet all the animals here, and all except Gizmo ran and hid. Gizmo went right up to him, rubbed against him and played with him – knowing not to hurt him too. He was so gentle and we even put him in the play pen with the little kid, the little one tugged on Gizmo’s hair and Giz just sat there happy as can be. I am very proud to say that Gizmo is Great with little kids.

Adoption fees:
$100.00 --- kittens 9 months or younger
$75.00 --- cats older than 9 months

Adoption fee includes: microchipping, spay/neuter, initial vaccinations including rabies if age appropriate,
Feline Leukemia and FIV test, deworming, and all necessary vet care.

ARVSS encourages adoptors to visit their own vet as soon as possible after the adoption.
