Gill

Gill is a 6 year old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative! Gill is a friendly and beautiful boy who will just need a bit of time to adjust – along with lots of love and patience! He would also benefit from a home with lots of space, as he is unhappy with apartment life. Although he can be a bit of a ‘grumpy Gill” at times, he loves to cuddle up next to you and will sleep with you at night or during the day if you like to take cat naps too! He also loves sitting in his cat tree looking out the window at the pigeons and playing with his wand toy. He loves a good face and butt scratch and ADORES being brushed. He will do a trick for a Churu, or really any treat, which is a spin and sit! Churu treats will also get him through nail trimmings, and he won’t even know what happened! He is a particular boy and walks into every room with caution like a puma on the prowl which can be very entertaining. He also loves cat nip spray which I tend to put on a scratcher flat on the ground for him or on his fish toy. He also enjoys being picked up and carried around to sniff and look at things from a different point of view. This works like a charm when he seems upset and keeps meowing which usually means he just wants to be babied. Gill has encountered dogs before and didn’t have any issues, but he has never lived with one. He previously lived with many other small pets in the home, and he does great with them! He does get territorial around other kitties but can live with others if introduced properly! Although he has never lived with children, he should do ok with slightly older and respectful children at least 8 years of age or older.
