My Story

This pretty kitty is Gigi. She is 8-months-old and weighs 7 lb. Her foster says "Gigi is a tiny, gentle, sweet, special girl who deserves a loving home where she will be pampered and adored for the rest of her days. She had a rough start, being bullied by neighborhood male cats and losing an entire litter of kittens before she was brought to DAWS very pregnant and in need of a safe place to become a mom for the second time. She trusted her foster family instantly, seeming genuinely grateful for our help. She delivered her kittens surrounded by her foster mom, dad and 3 kids and was the very best mother a kitten could ask for. Mother cats typically get sick of their kittens around 10 weeks, but Gigi nuzzled, snuggled, nursed and played with each of her babies until they were adopted at around 14 weeks, after which she was so sad that she barely ate for 3 days. She is now ready to find her forever home, ideally without other cats so she can let her guard down and relax with her new family. Gigi is affectionate and loving - we adore her and if we didn’t have other cats (that she is very afraid of) we would “foster fail” and keep her in a heartbeat. If you would like more information about Gigi, we would be happy to share." Gigi is vaccinated, microchipped, healthy and will be spayed before adoption. Her adoption fee is $150.
