Hi folks! I am Gigi. I am a lovely adult cat that just finished weaning a rambunctious litter of kitties. Not to brag, but I am a fantastic mama. My story starts off a little sad though. Upon finding out that I was pregnant, my prior owner dumped me in a rural part of the Hood Canal area. Before the wonderful Humane Society took me in, I was emaciated to a near critical point. Despite my own health, I prioritized my kittens and remained dedicated to their care. With good food and care, I am gaining weight and my friendly, but independent personality is blossoming. I should mention when I was caring for my babies, I was quite protective and ran off every cat and dog who even looked in my direction. However, in my foster home, I have mellowed out considerably and choose to ignore the other dogs and cats in my household. I think I am adapting well to other furry roommates. I probably would do best with older children and adults. Furthermore, I am not the real playful type; I just like to explore and get some cuddles. I am what many consider to be really low maintenance, but will carry a conversation about my needs. I would really like the opportunity to have a forever home and come to understand unconditionally love.
