GIDEON

GIDEON is a 3 year old male Russian Blue mix with a wonderful personality & temperament to go along with it. He’s playful and silly, and likes to sit like a human. He really likes horsing around and is very athletic when he’s playing. He has had a lot of time with people and is well-socialized. He is a people person! GIDEON recently tested positive for FIV, but he is negative for feline leukemia. Cats with FIV tend to live long, active lives with normal lifespans. You do have to be careful if that cat gets sick from something else and treat the other infection right away. FIV is transmitted from deep bites, if not transmitted during pregnancy, and can't be transmitted to your other cats by sharing litter boxes and food and water bowls. GIDEON is extremely sweet and docile, and has no aggression at all. GIDEON likes other cats. We are grateful that we were able to save him. He now needs a happy, loving, forever home. He will adjust to a new home quickly...over a few days! GIDEON starts off a little bit shy and reserved, until he feels comfortable with you, but then he warms up quickly. GIDEONN is a soft and snuggly Russian Blue - Tuxedo boy, with white neck, belly, and toes. and should be hypoallergenic. He is very affectionate and loves to get super close; he enjoys his belly rubs! He is basically a "Dog-in-a-cat-suit!" There will be a lot of demand for GIDEON. He will have an adopter very quickly! Make sure to send an email requesting an application. He will need to be picked up this week! IF YOU ARE NOT READY FOR IMMEDIATE ADOPTION, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY!!! Filling out an application does not guarantee adoption of a particular kitten. We receive many applications for each listed cat, and we review them carefully to ensure a good fit. Of approvable applications, we give precedence to the earliest that we receive. All of our cats and kittens are rescued or surrendered to us by their owner, and now want a happy, long life with a family!. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV and FeLV, as well as given flea, heartworm, and ear mite prevention. We do not DNA or allergy test our cats. We cannot guarantee the breed mix, as we are a rescue, not breeders. Please note that we are a privately run rescue. We are not government funded and get very few donations. The care that we provide, the animals that we rescue, all costs are covered out of pocket, so our adoption fees are higher than what you may find at a funded or government shelter.
