Meet Ghost:
Ghost got his name from the homeless people, who would catch a fleeting glimpse of him before he would vanish again for weeks on end.
For many years, Ghost lived among the unhoused citizens, and a large colony of feral cats at a homeless encampment, where he endured harsh conditions, many injuries and battle wounds, and ultimately emerged as a true survivor.
In December, Ghost crawled into our trap with a severely lacerated hind leg.
Missing an entire ear from one of his many battles as an unaltered feral cat, and scars down his face, he required sedation for vet handling for many months, and leather handling gloves for protection to reach into his cage.
But with 7 months of dedicated care involving multiple surgeries, laser therapy, splints, bandages, bi-weekly vet appointments, and lots of TLC, Ghost's leg has healed, and so did his heart. ??
He has blossomed into the MOST loving, affectionate, and sweet boy, who just wants his face pressed against your face, and all the belly rubs in the world!
Ghost also underwent a dental procedure and had five teeth pulled that were severely broken due to injuries from his tragic past, now ensuring he's in the best health possible for his forever home.
He cohabits well with other cats and dogs, displaying a highly adaptable and easy-going nature.
Ghost is now ready to leave his past behind and become a cherished member of a loving family.
Will you be the one to give this incredible survivor the home he deserves?
