Geronimo, Willow Grove PA (FCID 05/29/2024-84)

Meet Geronimo, a handsome grey tabby man! This resilient guy is adjusting to life at the shelter and is looking for a loving home to continue his journey. Geronimo enjoys the company of adults and likes to be pet. Sometimes, though, he gives a strong nibble or may press his paw firmly onto your hand as a sign he's had enough. We think he's still learning how to trust and politely interact with people who care for him. When Geronimo was found on the streets, we noticed that his eyes seemed to bother him. This is because his eyelids and lashes were rubbing against his eyes, causing him a lot of discomfort! We've corrected this with surgery, and he is healing very well! Now, with his vision improved, Geronimo is settling into the shelter and starting to explore his playful side. Sociability: With People: Geronimo is good around adults who can read his cues for attention. With Cats: He seems okay around other cats, making him a potential fit for a multi-cat household. With Dogs: Geronimo's experience with dogs is unknown. With a little patience and love, Geronimo will flourish in a home where he can continue to learn and grow. Geronimo is FIV+, but that is really no big deal. FIV+ cats can live long, healthy lives and also live happily with non-FIV cats without issue. See our FAQs sheet for more info.
