Geraldine

This is a courtesy post. Geraldine is still with her owner, but she is being re-homed reason that are not her fault. Bottom line is that her human dad is getting re-married, her soon to be wife has a little dog that goes after Geraldine and with reason she lashes out at the dog. They are afraid that the dog will get hurt and so Geraldine is being rehomed. It will be a good thing if we can find Geraldine a home very soon as the human wedding date is drawing near and we do not want her to be turned into a shelter. Geraldine is 10 years old, the family had her since she was a kitten, she has what we call in rescue an cattidude meaning that she is not an easy cat. She is more of a kitty that does her own thing, on her terms. This is most certainly remedy with a cat behaviorist or even medication. But for the new owner to know is that she is more of a kitty to look at and not so much to touch and you got to love her that way. As mentioned above we do not know the bottom line, her behavior may be totally different once she is in a new home, with an owner that understands her and give s her time and that has a lot of patience. Geraldine will do best in a home with no other pets and neither children and with a person that has the time to dedicate to her and work towards her issues. Her adoption fee is $ 45.00
