Hey there Georgie Girl! Georgie was born in April of 2023 and would do well with all ages and other animals with proper introduction. Georgie is a very sweet and curious gal that loves playing and snuggling up with her friends here at the shelter. If there is a human within reach - getting attention takes priority! She absolutely adores being petted and held! She would love to have a kitty friend in her new home, or to take one with her when she gets adopted! Georgie Girl can't wait to find a new home and best friend to call her very own with lots of love to give! All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition. Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed. If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only.
