Meet Georgie! This sweet boy came into TCHS as a stray, due to this we do not know much about his background. His finders did have him for awhile and had minimal information on him. Georgie was described as being a lovebug, and a big lover of affection. He loves spending supervised time outside and napping in the sunshine. Georgie lived with dogs for a time and loved playing with them and cohabitating with them. It is unknown if he's been around cats or kids and we would recommend slow and proper introductions to any resident animals. If you have any questions on how to introduce animals to each other please ask a staff member for more information. Georgie tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). FIV only affects cats, and it is similar to HIV in humans. FIV infection cannot be eliminated in a cat, but cats may live symptom-free for a very long time and may have a normal life span. Others may develop complications from a depressed immune system. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, de-worming, any medical procedures and general care.
