Meet Georgie, a resilient female black cat with a heartwarming story. Georgie first appeared in rural New Brunswick last summer. Despite her initial fear and losing a litter of kittens, Georgie bravely faced the world. A kind stranger fed her, though she remained very scared. One morning, Georgie's rescuer discovered she had given birth to three healthy kittens. Georgie became pregnant again (for the last time this time) and gave birth to three kittens in March 2024. Carma stepped in to help. Once her kittens were old enough, Carma took Georgie in and had her spayed. Now, Georgie is living with a volunteer along with her kittens. Georgie's personality has blossomed since she was spayed. While she may never be a cuddly lap cat, she has become friendly and affectionate, often rubbing around your legs as she eagerly waits for her meal. She has a particular fondness for soft food, canned tuna water, and canned chicken water. Georgie is now ready for adoption. Although she may be shy, she has shown incredible strength and the capacity to love. If you have a gentle and patient heart, Georgie could be your perfect companion.
