My Story

Garfield at 15 years young is the sweetest kitty. He greets his foster mom with soft meows and reaches out to tap her with his front paws. Sometimes he tries to hug her. His sweet human momma passed away leaving him and his 3 kitty friends homeless. AVAP took them in. Garfield has adjusted quickly and like most orange tabbies is full of affection and very easy going. He does have kidney issues-chronic kidney disease-and requires a special prescription diet. At times he does require subcutaneous fluids and other Veterinary support. At times he misses the litter box so his foster mom keeps a potty pad at the entrance of the litter box A kitty drinking fountain is a must to encourage him to drink plenty of water. He gets along well with other friendly cats. He just needs a soft spot with lots of love for his Senior years. He still has years of love and kitty kisses to give.
