Galahad

Hello, my name is Galahad. I am a young adult male kitty who is already neutered. I was found by a good Samaritan who saw me scared and outside all by myself. They brought me here to the shelter so my owner could find me. Well, so far, no one has called looking for me, so everyone seems to think my owner may have abandoned me outside in that scary world because they didn’t want me anymore. I have a chance to find a good home now. I am so scared of this place still. Even though I have been here for a while, I just want to hide because I am only used to my previous family. I seem to recognize the animal handlers who I see every day, because they take care of me and give me my food and water. My instincts are strong to hide in a situation where I feel nervous. They tell me I need to be more outgoing, but I would feel so much better in a quiet room all by myself, so I could get used to one family. I am hoping that someone will look past my bashfulness and give me a chance to get used to them. I am very tolerant and you can pick me up and do anything you need to, I promise I won’t get upset. If you start petting me, I will purr a little tiny purr, and will close my eyes enjoying it. Would you come visit me, and see if I might be a kitty who you would rescue? I just want my own quiet home where someone will love me and not abandon me again.
