My Story

*In March 2010 Gabriel and Fabian's foster family decided they couldn't part with these two adorable boys so they officially adopted them. They are two very lucky little kitties.

Here is Gabriel's story.

Gabriel is a beautiful male white Turkish Angora. His story starts with that of his mother Evangeline's which is appended below.

When Evangeline’s kittens were weaned, the people who had her kept the kittens and turned the mother out on the street. It was not long before they lost interest in the kittens also and planned to turn them out into the cold too. When Evangeline’s rescuer was told of their intentions he intervened and they relinquished the kittens and Cat Rescue Network found foster homes for them. Gabriel and his sister, who has since been adopted, were born in February 2009.

Gabriel thought he had found his forever home too but the lovely family who adopted him were first time cat owners and didn't know that one of their children was allergic to cats. Gabriel quickly stolen the hearts of the whole family so needless to say everyone was very upset when they realized that Gabriel would have to be returned to his foster home. Gabriel is adorable and is looking forward to finding a new forever home to replace the one he just lost. With so many changes in his life it would be best for Gabriel to be adopted with one of his foster mates.

Evangeline's story - Evangeline was born in August 08. Although not even a year old, she has already had kittens. That is why she appears thin in the photo. Evangeline looks like an angel, with her pure white angora coat and her distinctive eyes. One is yellow and one is blue. She also has the disposition of an angel. She is very friendly, quiet and gets along with other cats. Evangeline was abandoned outdoors in an inhospitable neighbourhood while pregnant and her kittens were all either kept or given away, but she was not wanted. A kind person took her in to keep her from freezing to death, or being victimized by people and animals. Her glistening white coat made it difficult for her to hide. The person has cats of his own and cannot keep her so we are having her spayed and vaccinated and will find her a good home. This pretty, loving little cat will make a wonderful pet Evangeline is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed.
