Thanks to a generous donation from Tika’s owners, all senior cat adoption fees are being sponsored through our Tika Senior Cat Adoption Promotion – including Gabby’s! Gabby is a 7 year old spayed female. She is current on her vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative! Meet Gabby! Gabby is a gorgeous and low-key kitty who is ready to find a loving and relaxing forever home. She may be a bit shy at first and will take some time to adjust in a new home until she starts to show her laid back and sweet personality. Being an older gal, she prefers the more leisurely things in life such as catnapping in a cozy bed, relaxing next to a sunny window, or lounging in a high spot such as a cat tree or shelf. Once she has had the chance to get to know you she does enjoy gentle pets from her favorite people and enjoys just simply hanging out by you to check out what you are doing. Gabby is a laid back lady once she knows you and is comfortable with her surroundings but she does startle easily from fast movements and loud noises so she is looking for a bit of a calmer and quieter home. She is looking for a family with older children at least 10 years of age or older who won't chase or scare her and understand that she may prefer her independence at times. She did previously live in a home with several other kitties and currently resides in a communal living area here at the shelter with other cats so she would love to have another low-key feline friend in her new home too!
