Nothing chilly about our boy Frosty! This goofy guy is very affectionate and loving. He warms hearts with his scratchy meow and the way he begs for petting. We estimate his age to be about 3-5 years old.
Frosty came from a home with many other cats. In this home, cats lived in small cages. He was very shy and afraid for a while. Frosty came out of his shell and showed us what a sweet treat he is.
When we tried to introduce Frosty to a young playful cat, he was not happy. Frosty did much better when we introduced him to an older, calm cat. He will likely prefer a home with low energy, chill cats that give him space.
We strongly recommend that you go slow with integrating him to his new home. Cats rescued from hoarding situations can get overwhelmed with change. So we suggest you start him out in a small room such as a bathroom to let him slowly decompress. Toys and treats are a great way to help him relax and bond with his new family.
