Fritter is a sweet and gentle kitty. He is 2-3 years old and was an unclaimed stray.
He asks you to give him time to come out of his shell and build his trust in you. Once he knows he’s safe, his personality really blossoms.
Because of his shy nature, he would do best in a quiet home. However, he is chill and content to sit in the same room as you, but probably not on your lap, thank you very much.
He loves to play with a cat-dancer toy, and is not too shy to engage with you for that type of play. While he likes his space, he also likes to follow and watch at a distance, and see what you’re up to.
Food motivated, and not at all picky about what you feed him, he loves treats and to observe what you’re making for dinner.
Fritter is good with cats after a slow introduction, but has not been around dogs.
Adoption fee is $230 + tax (no checks).
Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.
Sometimes there is more that comes out about an animals personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable.
There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
