My Story

Update June 26: Well, well well. "Mr. Inbetween" has shifted to "Mr. what's going on?". Friar has decided to come out of his cubby and explore more, he is rubbing on people and wanting attention, but he's still a kitty that does not like to be picked up and wants to interact on his own terms. It's taken him about 8-10 weeks to come out of his shell, so his home should be prepared for him to be shy for a little while, but once he's out and about, he's quite a sweet boy. When it's quiet he feels safe to check things out. If you think you can offer Friar a home where he can blossom at his own pace, let's chat. He would probably do best in a quiet adult home or with people who will let him be who he is until he blossoms as much as he can. Friar arrived at the shelter on Oct 26, 2023 as part of an off site intake by the CCSPCA on Campobello, then was adopted and came back to us in April 2024, as his owner did not feel he was progressing. Friar is a short haired black male, estimated at 4 years old.
