My Story

Freddy is a very handsome orange and white male cat. He came to OSC through a rescue mission in Lebanon in 2022. Freddy was adopted by a wonderful man, who, sadly, was no longer able to keep him. Freddy came back to a loving foster family, and is now ready to find another family to love. Freddy is about 7 years old and has a very laid back personality. He’s a chill cat who doesn’t mind being picked up. He will tell you when he wants to get down. Freddy loves people and is friendly and affectionate. He’s great at cuddling with you, and might make biscuits on your pillow at bedtime. Freddy is a loving, sweet boy at home, but he is not fond of vet visits. He needs to take a pill to help him stay calm in a scary situation, and the vet may need to medicate him too. Once he’s back home, he feels happy and secure again. Freddy’s foster mom says he will flop dramatically and ask to be petted. He loves watching the wildlife outside, and will enjoy a window perch or cat tree. As a quieter kitty, Freddy would enjoy a bit quieter home. He has good manners and will greet you at the door when you come home. Freddy has good litter box habits, and prefers a nice large litter box. Freddy prefers to be an only pet. He’s not fond of dogs, and would do best as an only cat. He’s a gentle boy, so we think he would be fine with children who will respect that he might need a bit of quiet time. Freddy has had quite a life so far, and now this lovely boy is ready to settle into a home with someone special to love again. If you are interested in adopting Freddy, please send in an application from our website. https://www.orangestreetcats.org/adopt.html or email us at: [email protected] Note: Orange Street Cats is currently following a foster-to-adopt model in place of an in-person meeting prior to adoption. You will provide a foster home to the cat you are interested in adopting for a trial period. This gives you and your family an opportunity to be sure this is a good fit before you make the commitment to adopt. Our adoption team is available during and after the transition period to make sure our adopters and our cats are happy together!
