My Story

Can't adopt but want to help? Please contact [email protected] to find out about sponsorship, fostering, and other ways you can help this cat! Please note that financial sponsorship will be applied to the specific cat you indicate unless it is not needed, at which time we will let you designate it for another HT animal of your choice.

You can save animals like Fred by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats before they are euthanized at the shelters, so that they have more time to find a permanent family. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please click here and email the questionnaire to [email protected].

Fred is an all-around great cat. This grey tabby is declawed and about 5 years old. He is a mellow, social cat who is quite smart as well. Fred seems to like nothing more than getting pets, especially on his cheeks, top of his head and back. He is a sweet guy who just seemed thrilled every time there is a human around. He's also a big fan of catnip and treats--Greenies are his favorite.
