Franklin - $40

Kittens, kittens everywhere and nowhere for them to go. Franklin was rescued from a neighborhood that had a couple stray mom cats last year and now has 30 + kittens running everywhere and pregnant cats under every house. Lets see, if those moms had another litter this summer and half these kittens survived that would be a minimum of 150 cats and kittens by next spring. Sorry for the math lesson, but if you want to do one good thing for the universe this summer, get a stray cat spayed or neutered FREE. We can tell you the agencies that do this in your area. Back to Franklin, he is a cute little orange fellow who likes canned food and toys and is a tiny bit bashful when you first meet him. But, pull out the toys and you will have him playing in minutes. He just needs to build up his confidence! Being part of a huge group of kittens, he has not had much individual attention and he LOVES it when he gets it. Fortunately, all these kittens were handled by people in the neighborhood, so they aren't feral at all -- just tentative about first meetings. Franklin would do great with a friendly young cat or kitten and we have some younger babies who would do great with him. He seems to have a" sensitive" personality, so he'd do best with a kitten friend who won't boss him around too much. The bratty kitten he is with now, growls at him and pounces on him and he slumps off to a corner and pouts feeling quite sorry for himself. If you have a nice kitty, Franklin would love to meet you! Adoption fee for pairs is $75 and includes spay/ neuter, vaccines, worming, flea treatment and leukemia testing, so consider adopting him with one of our other foster kittens.
