Francine - bonded with Charmaine

Hi, my name is Francine. I am 5 and a half years old and up till now my life has not been easy. I lived in a house that was not very good for me and my sister Charmaine until a nice lady came and rescued us. We went to live with a very nice family who treated us like a couple of queens. I was still very scared so I stayed in the crate and would not eat. After a while I became a little better and started to eat on my own but would still stay in the crate and didn't want to be touched. I am so much better now and I let the people pet me and I discovered that I really like it. My foster family took a video of me being pet so you can see that I do like it, I even purr for them now and they can't believe that I am the same cat. I really like butt scratches and having my chin and cheeks rubbed. I am learning from my sister Charmaine how to play and be a confident cat. I love to use the scratching pads and to play with crinkle balls and springs and to chase my sister all around the room. My favourite thing is to sit in a window to look outside or to snuggle up on a chair with my sister and sleep. Like my sister I also love catnip and have a video of me enjoying it so you can see the cute white patch on my belly. I am still quite skittish and it may take me a little longer than my sister to come around but when I do you will see how sweet I am.
