Oh, this boy. Yes, he's as quirky as his name suggests. It's true. So, so true. Frankie was found as a stray at five years old. He was very thin and being picked on by other cats on a lovely lady's property where she kept him fed and safe from the other stray cats until we could bring him in. He sure did start to shine and show his personality once he was inside. I've never seen a cat so excited to see toys, tunnels, warm blankets, and people who doted on him. And that's when we found out just how special this boy was. He loved us and we knew that right away. But we also found out that he gets overstimulated with too much petting and will nip your hand if you don't stop when he needs you to. We let Frank show us when he wants love, and since his body language is easy to read, we know when to stop. Sometimes he wants a lot of love, sometimes just a bit. But we let him call the shots and tell us what he needs. Sometimes that's a full on cuddle session in your lap while watching TV (your boy loves TV). Frank is pretty helpful around the house. He'll hop into the fridge when you're trying to get a drink, or sit in his litterbox when you're cleaning it just to help you out and supervise. He knows you shouldn't do the chores alone, and he simply likes to be where you are. Franks's favorite thing in life is toys. He loves, loves, loves to play. He loves to chase balls, run through his tunnels, explore, climb/hide in boxes, and cat trees. But his favorite activity is chasing the feather wand. There is not a feather wand around that stands a chance against Frank and his ninja moves. Oh, and cat nip, the boy loves some nip. He may play-grab or nip an unsuspecting ankle if he hasn't been played with in awhile, and hands should keep distance during play because he may accidentally grab a hand trying to get to the toy; he means no harm, he just gets really excited about his toys. Frank is his own cat and does life his way. He is a very special, sweet boy, but sometimes he needs some space and you have to love him from a distance. He is searching for a family that will allow him to live his life on his terms and love him just as he is. Est.
