Fortuna

Fortuna is a 12 week, shy kitten looking for her forever home. She loves to sunbathe and lounge around the house. She can be shy and can be quite skittish to loud noises/quick movement. But, she loves to play with her brother and any form of toy. She’s great with “quiet time.” She currently lives in a house with 1 biological brother (12 weeks), 3 other cats ( 3 hrs, 5 yrs, 12 yrs), and 2 dogs (1 dachshund mix and 1 Pitbull mix). She would do best in a quiet home that can take the time to show her the world isn’t such a scary place. Due to her past, she struggles with physical affection and prefers to be near you but not touching. This may change with time but currently she prefers to have her space. Fortuna and her brother Formaggio, had a rough start to life. They were thrown away in a dumpster and left to fend for themselves. Formaggio was in much worse condition than Fortuna when they were found. Due to this experience, she has a tough time trusting strangers and can be a bit skittish. She will require time to adapt to her new environment and slowly build a bond with her future human. Future owners should have experience with shy/skittish cats. Fortuna will need to go her siblings, Formaggio, or to a home with an active, young resident cat who can show her the ropes as she grows up. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped.
