Florentine

Florentine "Flo" is a tiny brave girl. She is small, but full of energy and has a beautiful zest for life. She is obsessed with her bell toys and can jump higher than any kitten I have ever seen; she is an Olympic athlete! She loves to sunbathe, tackle her brother, and watch the birds from the top of her cat tree. She will come sit next to you, and purr her heart out. Flo is a sweet, gentle and energetic girl that will thrive in a house with other kittens to run and play with. Flo is such a curious little kitty. She is the first one on the patio in the morning to explore and the last one to come in at night. She is small and still learning about the world. Patience and guidance go a long way with her. She is a love and such a gorgeous babe. She has grown up with two small dogs and does fine with them, but they scare her. Florentine would love to go to a home with her brother Benedict! Currently in foster care in Costa Mesa. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation. All Del Gato kitties are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. Thank you! ____________________ Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue. We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized. We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline overpopulation crisis. When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family. If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.
