Can't adopt but want to help? Please contact Homeward Trails to find out about sponsorship, fostering, and other ways you can help this cat! Please note that financial sponsorship will be applied to the specific cat you indicate unless it is not needed, at which time we will let you designate it for another HT animal of your choice.
You can save animals like Flora by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats before they are euthanized at the shelters, so that they have more time to find a permanent family. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please click
here and email the questionnaire to

Meet Flora, a cherry blossom kitten! Flora is a gorgeous medium haired kitten with soft and silky hair that is white with brown tabby markings. She has little tufts of fur on the tips of her ears and in between her toes, like a little maine coon! She has the longest, bushiest tail, that she likes to wrap around herself while she sleeps (one might call her 'the kitten with the marvelous tail.') She is an exceptionally friendly and affectionate kitten, by far the most loving little lady we've ever fostered (and we've had some real sweeties). She will follow you about the house purring and is a total lap cat. We think she is about 4 months old, though she is very petite and very skinny so it is hard to tell. She is absolutely thrilled to be in the company of humans and other cats, and would make a fantastic springtime addition to your home! Please see more photos of her via this facebook link:
