Flex was brought to the shelter after he was found as a stray kitten. This poor guy was having multiple seizures a day and was beginning to sustain injuries due to the convulsions. After a couple vet visits, we were able to get him on medication that has since kept the seizures completely under control. Flex is now on phenobarbital and will likely have to stay on it for the rest of his life. However, the medication is easy to administer (one pill twice a day) and is affordable ($22.20 for a month supply). We understand that adopting a cat with special needs is a big commitment, but Flex is such an incredible guy that he will surely be worth it! He is SO affectionate and loves to play. He would do great in a home with other animals and children. Flex is now awaiting for the perfect family to bring him home!
