She was part of a litter of tabby kittens that were born in a woods-like setting behind a high-end steakhouse in Indiana. Though initially raised by highly trained waitstaff on customary gourmet scraps, they would gladly trade up to consistent indoor living with common folk! Flanksteak was the last kitten to be rescued, surviving on her own during a 100-degree heat wave! She has overcome the most socially and is now ready to find a loving home. According to her foster, Flanksteak's initial shyness is offset by her NIGHTLY nose to nose nuzzling that she enjoys with her trusted human. Though a daytime napper, she is often seen chasing her brothers and sisters around the halls. Once she has chased all she can chase, she is often found napping by the fireplace in her favorite plush bed. Flanksteak will certainly get along well with other kitties, but would do best with older, gentle children. She has lived with a large energetic dog in her foster home and have learned her boundaries. Flanksteak is going to be a sweet and gentle companion to a lucky adopter.
