She was found as a local stray and not reclaimed. She is estimated to be 1-2 years old. Fiona enjoys playing with toys and getting pets from her people. Fiona would do best as the only cat in the household. She doesn't currently live with them in her foster home, but in her encounters with dogs she hasn't reacted to them and done well when they sniff her crate. Fiona is looking for a calm household that she can call her own, is that with you? As part of the adoption process, vet references will be checked on past/current pets looking for history of routine exams, DHPP/FDRC and rabies vaccines. Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home. Sometimes there is more that comes out about an animals personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months.
