My Story

I’m a shy but friendly 2 year old. I enjoy curling up on my window seat or in my cat condo most of the day. I love getting brushed and scratched. I am working on becoming a brave cat but need my forever home. Are you willing to be patient with me and help me out of my shell? I am bonded with Dax and we must be adopted together. All cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, up to date on rabies and distemper and have had de-wormer medication as a preventive measure. All have tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. Some kitties may even have a microchip. HOW TO ADOPT *Download, complete and return an adoption application from our website https://orphananimalrescue.org/how-to-adopt. *Email the completed application to [email protected]. Open by appointment, please send a message to [email protected] to schedule once you complete an application. *Contact your veterinarian's office and NON-RELATED personal references to expect a phone call from someone at OARS. This helps us process the application within 2 days. We focus on providing personalized care for these cats in a loving, home-like environment. Cats live in community rooms and they are able to watch bird feeder activity and nap in a favorite sunny spot. We partner with other rescues and shelters when bringing pets to our rescue. We do not accept cats from the public. This approach allows us to help organizations near capacity or those with a special kitty that may need more attention. We are completely donation supported. All donations go towards food, supplies, medications and veterinary treatments for the homeless animals in our care. Get involved and be part of the difference for these pets.
