My Story

Attention all DOG CAT lovers: have we got the outgoing guy for you! Finn is a brave boy who toughed it out on the streets of Brooklyn for over a year without complaining. But now that he’s happily back indoors, his foster tells us he’s a sucker for snuggles on the couch and following his family around from room-to-room like a puppy. While he loves to chill on the window sill, like most extroverted cats, Finn is active and also loves to play, so be ready to break out those feather wands and puzzle feeders. And don’t forget the snacks — Finn is a food enthusiast and is known to grumble with delight as he chows down his meals! Finn is FIV+ but asymptomatic - he has a clean bill of health and will just need the same routine annual vet visits that all cats should receive. He can safely cohabitate with FIV- cats, so long as no aggressive fighting occurs. Finn would be fine as a solo companion, but since he is a playful boy we believe, with proper introductions, he would also do well with a young, playful cat or respectful dog. Finn is estimated to be between 5-6 years old, has been fully vetted and is up to date on vaccinations. If you love a big bruiser with a heart of gold, Finn might be your match! ------ (To learn more about FIV in cats, visit: https://www.humanesociety.org/news/fiv-positive-cats)
