Meet Fiji! He showed up at an East Kennsington yard back in the spring of 2022. His finders made sure to get him neutered, vaccinated, and remove his eye – which was severely infected and couldn’t be saved, before releasing him back to their yard. When he first came by, he wasn’t ready to be an indoor cat. Over the last year of getting to know him and earning his trust, Fiji finally decided he was ready to be inside forever. What he may lack in a right eye, he more than makes up for in sweet, gentle playfulness. His likes include wand toys, ear scratches, and long walks on the beach. He’s evolved from a shy outdoor cat, through a lot of love and patience, into an affectionate little purring machine. He’s the happiest boy you’ll ever meet and adapted to life inside quickly.
