This big handsome tabby has always portrayed himself as a fraidy cat, but really he is just timid and has really transformed into a social guy. Leaving his reputation behind, when he wants attention, he has an adorable way of letting out tiny meows that sound too small for him. He loves to be petted, enjoys his fluffy beds, he is great with other cats, and we liken him to a gentle giant since he is fairly large in stature. Fernando has some very dear friends among our volunteers, and he has formed special bonds with those whom he trusts. Among his social circle he is affectionately known as Friendly Fernando! He would do best in a home with other laid-back felines, since at his age, he is more interested in cuddling than running around. It seems like his love of fluffy beds could lead him to fluffy pillows, and he could definitely become a wonderful TV-watching companion. Fernando needs someone who will understand his cautious ways, but in return, he will make you laugh with his silly requests for love and engagement! DOB 4/2005 Cat adoption information and application can be found at www.staf.org. All cats and kittens have been vet-checked, spayed/neutered, and are up-to-date on vaccinations. Adoption fee includes carrier, scratching pad, starter pack of food and litter, and toy. We prefer kittens be adopted in pairs. We offer free advice anytime about your adopted cat. If, for any reason, it doesn't work out, we will take the cat back, anytime in the future. Potential adopters must be interviewed in person, at the shelter, and live within 150 miles of Cincinnati.
